If the person you are inviting is not currently set up on Applied using that same email address for another organisation, you can invite them onto your hiring team.
If, however, the person you wish to invite already has an Applied account associated with another organisation in any capacity, you will not be able to use that same email address.
The quickest option in this case would be to utilise an alternate email address if that person has one.
Some email providers support something called “plus addressing.” For example, using Gmail, the email firstname.lastname@example.org is treated the same as email@example.com. So “firstname.lastname@example.org” will receive communications sent to both of these addresses, ignoring what comes after the '+' sign.
In this manner, the individual you want to invite will:
- Receive your invite into their inbox and be able to access it
- Be able to access the Applied platform with two “different” email addresses, each associated with a specific organisation, without risk of accidental cross-access to different data for those two accounts.
