Get started with your email address
Independently of the source from which you learn about the job opportunity, at some point, you will be directed to an Applied link that displays the job description.
This same link also asks you to provide your email address and to accept Applied's terms and conditions in order to get started with the application process. We know how painful it is to create accounts and remember passwords! That's why we don't ask for this. You just need to provide your email address so we can share with you a unique application link.
Here are some recommendations when providing your email:

About you
You'll be asked to provide two types of information:
Equal opportunities questionnaire
This questionnaire asks for candidates' gender, age, ethnicity, disability status, and socioeconomic status. Our forms differ based on the country context in which the role is based.
We collect this information upfront because that allows us to help analyse any ‘leaky pipeline’; allowing us to measure who starts and who completes an application by different group.
Our promise to candidates is that the equal opps information they provide is anonymised and seen by hiring organisations at an aggregate/stats level.
Although completely voluntary, around 95% of candidates who have used the platform have provided equal opportunities information. But we understand if you don't feel comfortable. In this case, you can always opt for not providing this information.
Your details box
Here you'll be asked to provide your name, contact number and any other information that may be part of the minimum eligibility criteria for the role.
Progress & submission box
This box contains a progress bar that lets you track how much in the application process have you moved forward.
You can also find the 'submit your application button, which is enabled once the progress bar is at 100%.
You can also come back to this box in case you want to cancel your application at any point of the recruiting process.
Your tasks
You may find a multiple choice timed test or a list of Sift Questions.
Multiple choice timed test
The hiring organisation can ask you a set of multiple choice questions that you'll need to answer within a preset time.
Click on the 'take test' button if you have the time to answer the questions.
If you don't see this section, that's because the hiring organisation decided not to ask for multiple choice test.
Short answers to Sift Questions
Sift questions are the core of the Applied platform. As a candidate, you'll be asked to give 250-word written answers to day-to-day problems you'd face on the job and the hiring team will rate them following a set of behavioural design principles. You can find more about the science behind sift questions here.
