Before deciding who should you move to sift questions review , you can do a first sift based on the scores from timed multiple choice questions or Mapped. By doing this, you are assessing candidates' relevant domains of knowledge or situational judgement and at the same time you are minimising the burden on your team.
These are the steps that you can follow:
1. Sort candidates by the test score. Click on the "MCQ" or "Mapped" heading in the candidate management page.
2. Then click on the arrow, upwards or downwards, depending on how you sort candidates.
3. For candidates who are under the threshold, you can select them and "mark the candidates as rejected" in the blue ribbon (this is the icon x).
After you click on the 'mark candidates as rejected ' option, you'll see a template email. You can reject the candidates with or without sending an email. The cost of rejecting without sending a notification is that is that their perception towards your Organisation may be affected (candidate journey and branding).
4. As soon as you reject candidates with unsatisfactory test scores, the list of candidates that you find on the Manage page will refresh and it will contain everyone above the threshold. You can then move these candidates through to the next stage if you'd like (e.g. by allocating their short answers to the reviewing team).
