Why is there a restricted list of countries in the locations field?

We sometimes get requests from Admin, to add a new country to our list in the locations field of the 'Build' section of the platform.

This is not a request that we routinely action because the following countries listed below have bespoke diversity collection forms:

 

• Australia

• Canada

• France

• Germany

• United Kingdom

• Northern Ireland

• Hong Kong

• India

• The Netherlands

• New Zealand

• Singapore

• Switzerland

• United States of America

In some countries, there are legal implications for declaring certain diversity information and therefore it is up to you and your organisation, to research and validate the legality of asking equal opportunities questions in your chosen locations.

 

If you are hoping to recruit in a country not listed here, we offer a ‘minimal’ form which will only ask candidates about their gender and age. 

 

You can access the 'minimal/other' form in the 'Build' section of the platform. ​​​

If you go to the section titled 'Basic Info' and then scroll down to the 'Country' field the 'Minimal/ Other' form is the last option on the drop down menu.
