As a user of the Applied platform you will have originally given consent for data to be held about you on our system, as part of your application process. However consent to hold this data can be withdrawn at anytime.
How to request a data deletion
You can use a generic templated form to request a data deletion from us (there are a number of these available on the internet via various external companies) or simply send an email to our Support team at firstname.lastname@example.org
In the email we will need to confirm the email address that you registered your applications with, as well as your full name.
What we do when we receive a data deletion
Once we receive a request to delete data we log the request with our automated data deletion system. This system automatically deletes a candidates data when triggered.
Is there anything that we need to consider?
Under GDPR laws we are legally obliged to keep application data on all candidates for 6 months post hire to every role, but once the 6 month period post-hire has passed, then any data held on the candidate at the time the request was made will be deleted from our systems.
