What is this message and where can I update/change this?
By default, this message is shown to candidates on application outlining a general Honesty Policy around filling in their applications and any included assessments as themselves without the help from AI or plagiarism from the internet or other people. This honesty statement requires candidates to check that they understand and agree to the responsibility to follow these guidelines. [see default honesty statement below]. If your organisation has your own message, statement, or policies regarding your application process, assessments, or requirements from candidates, you may create a custom message that candidates will see and accept before being able to submit their applications.
You can change this message in your Organisation's Settings > Organisation Account > AI Guidelines for your org. This will apply to all your org's roles going forward when you save the message/edits. Changes take effect immediately.
What do candidates see and when?
Candidates see either the default message or your custom org's message at the top of their applications. They will be required to tick a box on the statement and click on "Accept statement" before submitting. With the default message, candidate's names will be automatically inserted into the statements but with custom messages, no candidate names are included in the statements.
How can I insert links in my custom message?
Instructions:
1. Write out what you want the link to say/title for the link (i.e. AI policies at Applied, AI guidelines) and put this in brackets.
2. Copy and paste your link in parenthesis right after the brackets.
Example: Check out our [AI policies here](http://www.orgpolicy.com).
What will show: Check out our AI policies here.
What happens if I change my org's message while the role is live?
Changes will take immediate effect on applications going forward but will not change/affect previously submitted applications, even for currently live roles. This is because we document if candidates have accepted statements and we do not change messages after candidates have seen and agreed to certain statements prior to changes in order to be legal and fair to all candidates.
