What is CV parsing?
This just means our application pre-scans your CV and makes sure it can read all the text clearly and that the document is safe and ready to upload.
Why do you require my CV to be parsed?
The application scans your CV/resume and checks that all the text is legible and can be read by all devices before you submit. Since all CVs come in many different forms, this provides a safer way to upload a CV, ensuring the document's information displays correctly. We ask you to confirm the information we scanned from your CV after you upload your document so that you get the chance to check over the information and make any last minute adjustments. You are required to confirm the information on your CV before submitting to make sure we're accurately scanned your CV.
What happens if I re-upload a new CV?
If you'd like to re-upload a new CV, no problem. Just open the CV section on your application dashboard and upload a new file. If you've previously uploaded a CV and confirmed the parsed information already, re-uploading a new document will remove the old CV document from our database and any parsed information you already confirmed. If you're worried about losing your previous edits/parsed CV text, you can copy it from the page before re-uploading.
