Assessment overview
Applied's unique CV chunking technique takes candidate CVs, analyses and stores its data, and then allows your hiring team to focus on the specific parts of the CV your role requires. CVs are broken down into sections/distinct categories so that you can choose what's important to you and decide what to score and how. Sections are shuffled in review so all candidates have a shot at the job depending on how they score in different sections. Candidate's personal information is stripped from the sections you see to reduce bias. This feature combines the power of "Wisdom of the crowd", "Chunking", and "Randomisation" to give you more control in hiring while backed behavioural science principles to ensure a more fair opportunity for everyone.
Why can't I change my CV review if I make my role live with Full Document Review?
When selecting full document review, our platform does not scan and parse candidate CVs the same way. Candidates simply upload their document and save before submitting. With chunked CV review, we add a second step to the CV upload for candidates where we parse and display the information we are able to read and organise from their CV and we require them to verify and confirm their information is correct before submitting.
For this reason, when you select Full document review first and then go live, you are unable to switch review types back to Chunked CV Review after because we won't have the same CV information from candidates required for the chunked type of review flow. *
* If you select Chunked CV Review first and go live and then later change your mind and want to review full document review, that is perfectly fine as we always collect the full document of the CV which would enable both review types.
